Why did Jesus Christ choose fishermen and a tax collector as disciples, but no theologians?

A lot of people who have degrees in Theology ot Bible Scholars have big heads. Because they are well learned they become arrogant and look down on people. Jesus wanted his disciples to be humble and exalt others, not themselves. Even Scribes and Pharasees were not good enough to get into Heaven. No one is. The blood of Christ cleanses all unrighteousness.
