Fireworks have already started, yet my kitten seems oblivious. Everyone says he'd freak so is he normal?

He's 16 weeks old and has only just got used to the noise of the vacuum cleaner!! Yet, horrible fireworks that set me on edge don't seem to worry him at all. Everyone said he would suffer during his first firework night but that ain't happening, despite nightly bombardments from Next Door Neighbours having loud sessions of letting the damn things off!!! Even I start to shake each year when I realise the dumb s are about to begin their yearly torment!! My kitten isn't deaf so how come I have the most chilled out cat in the history of Bonfire Night? Should I worry or be truly grateful? Poor little bugger! I feel sorry for all pets at this time of year and wish people would be a bit more considerate. Bonfire Night is ONE night!! Not a whole month!!!
