Since the taxpayers are bailing out these companies, shouldn't we be involved in their management?

Shouldn't we as taxpayers know how our money is being used to bail out these companies, and be informed of how our money is being spent to make these companies soluble? Shouldn't we be informed of the plan to manage these companies, and how the taxpayers will be reimbursed?
