What gear should I get next?

You used to have my respect man, you do take some good photos and you are very knowledgeable. But you just lost it with this question. You are the last person I would have expected to make such a teeny-bopper mistake as wanting a new object just because you can, or at least not adding some details about what you want to do that you can't do because of insufficient gear.
