From a maintanence standpoint, which of these SUV's is the better buy?

As far as recommended maintenance and your driving conditions, the newer jeeps need the diffs trans and t-case serviced at least every 15-20k. If it has the Hemi, you still need to tune-it up every 30k as it has copper plugs and guess what......there are 16 of them. I have seen quite a few troubles with the Trailblazers as far as driveability problems and oil leaks. I would not buy one. The Escape depends on if you go with the Hybrid or standard gas. Just a suggestion....if you go with the standard Escape, get the V-6. You will appreciate that. The maintenece also depends on your driving comditions as well. Still the mileage increments other than your regular 3k oil change are a bit wider at 25-30k. I hope that helps!
