Is our belief structure bound by chance?

Yes I agree, it is a fact. But I must point out that my childhood (brought up by Non-specific Agnostics) gave me the freedom to search for my own beliefs. Religiously biased families do not give their children the chance to do the same thing until it is too late. Take Jehovah's Witnesses for example, they are bound to have the same religion as their parents until they reach 18, but then they are so indoctrinated it is too late.
