MY SUGAR GLIDER IS SICK BEEN TO VET NEED HELP?

two days ago my baby who is three years old all of a sudden became deathly ill. one day he was climbing around in his cage, playing and normal. The next afternoon, he is on the floor listless, going around in circles with his nose to the ground. I picked him up and he looked awful.. I rushed him to the nearest animal hospital and they kept him overnight, gave him fluids and antibiotics calcium, and vitamins and sent him back home with me. said, they did exrays and nothing is in his stomach, and that there is nothing else they can do for him. he seems to have kinda gotten better in that his ears are perked again, eyes have cleared up, but he will not walk. he is so weak all he wants to do is stay wrapped in a blanket. he is shaking all over and has lost mive weight. I am force feeding him and forcing liquids.. but I am afraid he may not make it. Has anyone went through this before? - I believe my glidr may have gotten into some chicken alfredo in the kitchen that was waiting to be thrown out. It was bad. (spoiled). can anyone tell me what I can do if anything?
